Artwork Approval and Waiver
As part of our commitment to lower prices, we require appropriate artwork to be submitted by you. When printing artwork that was not created by our design staff, it becomes necessary for the sender to waive EDJ ink of any problems that arise during the production process that are caused by artwork that was prepared incorrectly.
Please check the art proof(s) carefully for errors and omissions. Your signature or that of your authorized representative is required on all mechanical or artwork prior to release for printing or other implementation.
In responding to your proof, please include one response: (1) Approved; (2) Changes Required; (3) Revised Artwork Required (and attached).
Be aware that by signing off the job and authorizing us to print your job, although we keep checking carefully through all stages of production, you take responsibility if there are any errors in the final job that were on the proof. Our undertaking is to ensure the printed job matches the signed off proof, of which we have a copy. Your signatory accepts responsibility for proofing all the artwork accurately. EDJ ink cannot accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested at artwork stage. Any modification requested after client approval of artwork may result in production delays and/or additional expenses for which client will be invoiced accordingly.

Once the job is run and shipped a press sign off sheet, showing the void pantograph was working on our copiers at the time of the run can be provided to show the pantograph was working properly on our equipment at press time. EDJ ink will not re-run for visibility any Void Pantograph jobs that are either customer press checked or in house press checked with accompanying documentation. At the customer’s request, a sheet of EDJ ink available void pantographs can be provided to test their viability on the end user’s copier(s). Please be advised that certain ink colors are not compatible with the design of Void Pantographs and the plant will advise the customer if we do not think the color will work with the Void Pantograph application. Customers that have been notified of potential color conflicts will be required to provide in writing a job approval that acknowledges that they have been made aware of a potential problem and are requiring the plant to produce the job despite the possible conflict.
